I'm always looking for ways to "make lemonade", as the saying goes. You may be aware that I've been dealing with a medical condition, and like many, it has limited my activity. Like it or not, ALL of us have to deal with limited resources of some sort.
I recently saw a relevant FB post about 'negotiating with my body', but it seems to me that it's more a matter of honestly evaluating what the body is realistically ABLE to do at the moment, the COST of doing those things in comfort/pain or energy/fatigue, and making informed decisions that respect ourselves.
I also believe in learning from others, and stumbled across "spoon theory", which you may find useful (there are written versions, too):
