Join us on Thursday, July 23rd from 5:00–9:00 PM at the Texas Roadhouse for our Annual Tip-A-Cop benefiting Special Olympics Texas!

This incredible event brings together our community, Law Enforcement Torch Run officers,
athletes, unified pairs, families, and supporters all for one purpose, to raise money and awareness for our athletes here in the Texas Panhandle!

We are currently looking for:

⭐ Unified Pairs
⭐ Volunteers

Our statewide Jersey Mike’s Day of Giving is happening tomorrow in Amarillo, and we are so excited to come together to support Special Olympics Texas! ❤️

Stop by your local Jersey Mike’s and 100% OF SALES made ALL DAY LONG will go directly back to Special Olympics Texas!

We will have athletes out at Jersey Mike’s during lunchtime and the evening, greeting customers, holding doors, and most importantly sharing their stories and the impact Special Olympics has had on their lives. This is what makes this day so special!

What a fun weekend at our Area 16 Special Olympics Texas Basketball Tournament! 🏀🎉 The turnout, energy, and community support made this tournament unforgettable.

A huge THANK YOU to Amarillo High, a proud Unified Champion Schools - Texas, for hosting us and opening your doors for this special event. We are so grateful for your facility and the amazing staff who supported us throughout the entire tournament, we couldn’t have done it without you!

A special thank you to Amarillo Police Department’s newest Chief, Chief Hover, and Sergeant Burr for joining us and helping carry the Flame of Hope alongside our athletes.

Shoutout to Lindsey Stiner News with NewsChannel 10 for serving as our incredible emcee and helping bring so much excitement and energy to the event!

A very special thank you to Ed Montana for the singing of our National Anthem. It was powerful and a perfect way to start off the tournament.

We are also so thankful for Atmos Energy for cooking lunch and taking care of our athletes, and Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages for donating Powerades to keep everyone hydrated all day long. Your generosity made a huge impact!

A special thank you to the River Road High School Cheerleaders for coming out and supporting our athletes, your energy and encouragement made the day even more exciting!

And a very special THANK YOU to all of our volunteers and supporters who took the time to come out this weekend, your dedication and heart made this an incredible experience for our athletes. We truly couldn’t do this without you.
