Montgomery Heart & Wellness
🌿 One year ago today, on May 24, 2025, the world lost an extraordinary physician and compassionate human being, Dr. Baxter Montgomery.
Dr. Montgomery was far more than a cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist. He devoted his life to helping people understand that heart disease is not always a one-way road. Through evidence-based lifestyle medicine and whole-food, plant-based nutrition, he gave countless patients hope, healing, and a second chance at life.
As founder of the Montgomery Heart & Wellness Center, he challenged conventional thinking and inspired thousands through his work, teaching, and example. His message was always rooted in compassion, science, and the belief that the body has an incredible capacity to heal when given the right support.
What was especially painful after his passing was seeing some individuals use the moment to spread false narratives about his health in an attempt to discredit his work. Dr. Montgomery did not die from heart disease. He was battling multiple myeloma and AL amyloidosis — rare and serious blood disorders with no known connection to diet or lifestyle choices.
Anyone who knew Dr. Montgomery understood the integrity, kindness, and dedication he brought to his patients every single day. His impact lives on through the people whose lives he changed, the education he shared, and the growing number of individuals taking control of their health because of his example.
Today, we remember him with gratitude and deep respect.
Rest peacefully, Dr. Montgomery. Your work mattered, and your legacy continues. 💚podcast/dr-baxter-montgomerys-cause-death-revealed-and-his-legacy-hope
