Meanwhile she’s 38, waking up at 3am, sweating through pajamas, forgetting why she walked into rooms, crying at dog food commercials, and wondering where her libido went.

Not every woman needs HRT.

Here’s one that deserves more attention - your actual heart.

Progesterone, estradiol, and testosterone are not just “reproductive” hormones. They are deeply involved in cardiovascular protection.

They help maintain healthy blood vessel function.
They support cholesterol balance.
They reduce inflammation.
They improve glucose regulation.

Then perimenopause begins. Hormones fluctuate. Eventually they decline. And with that loss, blood pressure rises, lipid profiles shift, insulin resistance increases and cardiac risk accelerates.

💥 A Historic Day for Women’s Health
Today marks a turning point. The FDA has finally agreed to remove the outdated black box warnings linking estrogen therapy to breast cancer, heart disease, and dementia.
This is huge. For decades, fear and misinformation kept millions of women from safe, effective treatment. But the data has always told a different story—when used correctly, estrogen therapy protects brain, bone, and heart health.

Massive respect to the leaders who helped make this happen—Dr. Laura Jackson, Dr. Casey Means, Dr. Rachel Rubin, and Dr. Kelly Casperson—for bringing truth, science, and compassion to the FDA. And a sincere thank-you to Dr. Makary and all who have worked behind the scenes to move women’s health forward.

This is what progress looks like.
