This week’s prompts are a little reminder that sometimes the most important thing we can do for ourselves is simply listen.

🤍 When you feel emotionally burnt out…
Take a moment to listen to yourself.

Slowing down long enough to acknowledge what’s draining us gives us a chance to respond instead of just continuing to push through.

✨ When you feel uncertain…
Take a moment to trust yourself.

We can spend so much energy trying to predict what’s going to happen next. But sometimes regulation looks like sitting with the unknown and trusting that we’ll figure out the next step when we get there.

🌱 When you’re goal setting…
Take a moment to dream for yourself.

Not what you should want. Not what everyone else is doing.
Giving ourselves permission to dream can reconnect us with the parts of ourselves that exist outside of our responsibilities.

☀️ When you feel proud…
Take a moment to celebrate yourself.

We’re so quick to move on to the next thing that we sometimes forget to pause and recognize how far we’ve come. Your nervous system deserves moments of safety, joy, and ease too.

And especially for my mamas…

I know finding time for yourself can feel impossible. There’s always another load of laundry, another snack to make, another little person who needs you.

But taking a few minutes for yourself isn’t selfish. And you don’t have to earn it by finishing everything first. 🫶🏽

It doesn’t have to be perfect.
It doesn’t have to be an hour.
It just has to be intentional.

Because taking care of yourself isn’t separate from taking care of your family. You are part of the equation, too. 💗

So take your five minutes. Breathe. Pick the prompt that feels like you today. And give yourself permission to listen inward.

Save this for your Sunday reset. 🪷

Girl let me tell you potty training honestly scared me 😭 I think I was so focused on the actual potty training part that I literally got overwhelmed.

Before expecting my toddler to consistently use the potty, I wanted him to understand the basics first: what the potty was for, when we use it, and what I expected from him.

So we started by:
✨ Making the potty accessible — we have a small potty and we keep it in the same room with us
✨ Creating a simple routine he could follow so he knows what to expect each day
✨ Using consistent language around p*e, p**p & the potty

There was no pressure for him to “get it” overnight. I just wanted the potty to become familiar and for him to start connecting the routine with what his body was doing.

And honestly, taking that approach made me feel so much less overwhelmed too. 🤍

If potty training feels intimidating right now, you don’t have to rush straight into the deep end. Start with familiarity, understanding, and consistency. The rest can come with time.

Save this if you’re prepping your little one for potty training! 🫶🏽

Sunday Journal Club 🤍

This week, we’re checking in with the parts of ourselves that can be easy to lose touch with—especially when so much of our energy goes toward taking care of everyone and everything around us.

The truth is sometimes we don’t realize how disconnected we’ve become until we finally slow down long enough to ask ourselves, “Wait a damn minute… how am I actually doing?”

This week’s prompts are here to help you:

🫶🏽 Come back to yourself
🪷 Speak kindly to yourself
🧘🏽‍♀️ Give yourself permission to slow down
✨ Trust yourself enough to take the next step

And while these prompts are for anyone who needs a little space to reflect, I especially want all the moms to know that you are allowed to check in with yourself, too.

Journaling gives us a place to put the thoughts we’ve been carrying around, process what we’re feeling, recognize what we need, and sometimes hear our own voice underneath all the noise.

And it doesn’t have to be perfect. You don’t need an hour alone. You don’t need a quiet house. You don’t even need to know exactly what you want to write about.

Just give yourself a few minutes.

Take a deep breath.
Open up your journal.
Choose the prompt that feels like you today.
And see what comes up. 🫶🏽✨

Save this for your Sunday reset and come journal with me.

My baby is going to PRESCHOOL 😭📚 and apparently that means he needs a whole new wardrobe 🙌🏽

I’m trying to be more intentional about what I buy this year, so I’m building him a little back-to-school capsule wardrobe with pieces that can easily mix & match, are comfy enough for toddler life, and can actually survive preschool (fingers crossed🤞🏽)

I found sooooooo many cute pieces at Otter Avenue + Carter’s.

Now I just need to figure out how many outfits this child actually needs because my brain is saying “capsule wardrobe” but my mom heart is saying “buy him everything” IYKYK

Preschool prep diaries continue 🥹💙 (I’ll have everything linked for yall 🔗)

Welcome to our little corner of the internet that reminds us to slow down before the busy week begins.

Every Sunday, we’ll start with 5 minutes of breathwork—no phone, no to-do list, no trying to fix anything. Just breathing and noticing what’s happening in your body.

After you finish the breathwork you’ll choose your journal prompts based on what you need that day and give yourself a few minutes to go a little bit deeper.

Creating a journal practice isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating and holding space for yourself.

And if you’re a mom thinking, “Girl… when am I supposed to find time for this?” 😂

Don’t wait for an hour of uninterrupted alone time.

Start with 5 minutes.

While your coffee is brewing.
During nap time.
After bedtime.
In the car before you walk into the house.

Five intentional minutes can still be meaningful 💗

So save this for Sunday, grab your journal, take a few deep breaths, and come back to yourself. 🫶🏽✨

I’ll see you next Sunday, girlies.
xoxo, E
