Sometimes the difference is hard to put into words!

Meet Chad, who recently experienced his first microprocessor knee, and his reaction says it all!

Chad couldn't believe the difference in how his prosthesis felt and performed. It was one of those moments where you could see just how much this technology meant to him. He was nearly overcome with emotion.

Microprocessor knees use advanced technology to continuously adjust resistance based on how someone is walking, helping improve stability, confidence, and mobility.

Choosing a prosthetic provider is an important decision. Your prosthetist is someone you'll work with for years, and having the right relationship can make a big difference in your overall experience.

When was the last time your prosthetic foot or knee was inspected for wear, loose components, or damage?

Your prosthesis goes through a lot of wear and tear every day. Just like your vehicle needs routine maintenance, your prosthesis needs regular inspections to make sure everything is functioning properly.

Loose components, unusual noises, excessive wear, or changes in how your prosthesis feels could be signs that something needs attention.

Don't wait until something breaks or fails to have it checked.

During one of our Lunch & Learns, Paul talked about something that doesn’t always get enough attention: the mental and emotional side of limb loss.

There can be grief, frustration, fear, and a lot of adjustment along the way. That’s why we believe good amputee care goes beyond just fitting a prosthesis.
