The U.S. h**p-derived consumer product sector is valued at up to $70 billion. It supports upwards of 475,000 American jobs — farmers, small business owners, manufacturers, and veterans who built their livelihoods in good faith under existing law. Congress is on the verge of eliminating them.

This is not a partisan issue. More than 30 million Americans use h**p-derived products daily for wellness, pain relief, and mental health. They live in every congressional district, and they will hold Congress accountable. Even the White House has called on Congress to act to protect Americans’ access to full-spectrum CBD products.

The current deadline does not regulate h**p; it bans it. With Congress’s August recess only weeks away, the window to build a commonsense regulatory framework is closing fast.

I can’t say enough good things about Real NY CBD and our experience working with Sean.

“I’m not taking this stuff to get high,” the veteran said. “I’m taking it to function.”

Fourteen years ago, VFW State Commander Dave Walden was found by his wife wandering his own neighborhood in a state of opioid-induced cognitive impairment. He had been taking “30 some” opioid pills a day for pain management.

When the 2018 Farm Bill passed, Dave had a solution, an answer to his pain without the addictive and harmful properties – h**p.

So what’s really more “harmful” and “dangerous?” One veteran taking ~30 pills a day, or buying a h**p product from a trusted local business?

Or what’s more affordable? Although there is a medical cannabis carve out in Texas (TCUP), Dave will still struggle to be able to afford a solution. “They’re passing along this cost to the consumer,” he said. “So that’s why most veterans can’t afford TCUP, because of how expensive it is.”
