We were pleased to welcome representatives from National Grid to our center to show them plans for our Sensory Garden of Hope! National Grid generously awarded the Alzheimer's Foundation of America a $10,000 grant toward the garden's construction. Once completed, the sensory garden will be a peaceful, relaxing outdoor area where individuals living with dementia and their caregivers can touch, smell, and engage their senses through interactive experiences with plants. Grateful to National Grid for their support!
