Now Hiring: Activities Department Assistant
River Place Nursing Center is looking for an energetic, compassionate, and creative individual to join our team as an Activities Department Assistant!
If you enjoy working with seniors and making a positive difference in their daily lives, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and leading engaging daily activities for residents.
Encourage resident participation in games, crafts, music, exercise, and special events.
Help decorate for holidays and themed activities.
Transport residents to and from activity areas as needed.
Foster a fun, welcoming, and caring environment while promoting residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Qualifications:
Positive attitude and enthusiastic personality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Dependable, compassionate, and a team player.
Experience working with seniors is a plus but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate!
