Hidaya Press was founded on a simple belief: self-care can be more than a routine. With sincere intention, it can become an act of worship.

In Arabic, Hidaya means guidance. And for us, the most beautiful guidance comes from the Qur’an and Sunnah.

As Muslim women, we often spend so much of our time fulfilling responsibilities, caring for others, and moving from one task to the next that caring for ourselves becomes an afterthought.

But our bodies are a gift from Allah, and they deserve to be cherished, nourished, and protected.

That is the heart behind Hidaya Press.

We create thoughtfully made self-care products inspired by the Qur’an and Sunnah, from our handcrafted soaps and bath essentials to journals and resources that nurture the mind and soul.

Each product is made and packed with love and sincere intention.

Our hope is to encourage you to approach everyday self-care more intentionally, nourish your body, mind, and soul, and draw closer to Allah along the way.

What does self-care as worship mean to you?

Your body has a right over you.

It’s easy to become so occupied with everything that needs our attention that we begin neglecting our own needs.

We make time for responsibilities, commitments, and the people we love, but sometimes forget to give our bodies the same consideration.

The Prophet ﷺ reminded Abdullah ibn Amr, who was devoting himself to fasting and night prayer, that his body had a right over him.

— Sahih al-Bukhari 5199

What a beautiful reminder of balance.

Caring for ourselves doesn’t have to mean extravagant routines or expensive products. It can look like eating nourishing meals, getting adequate rest, maintaining personal hygiene, and recognizing when our bodies need a pause.

Our responsibilities matter. So does the way we care for what Allah has entrusted to us.

May Allah grant us balance in how we worship, serve, and care for ourselves. Ameen.

If you’re the one everyone leans on, this is for you.

Somewhere along the way you learned that love means giving until you’re empty. That taking care of yourself is something you do only after everyone else is handled.

But an empty cup pours nothing. The resentment, the exhaustion, the quiet sense of disappearing inside your own life, none of it means you’re doing too little. It means you’ve been leaving yourself out.

Putting yourself first isn’t neglecting the people you love. It’s making sure there’s still a you left to love them.

A little quiet over here lately. ✨

I’ve been taking some time to slow down, reset, and find a better/newer rhythm & routine.

Behind the scenes, Sidr Soap has still been making its way into many homes, and I’ve been so grateful for every order, kind message, review, and piece of feedback.

Sometimes growth looks like working quietly, refining things behind the scenes, and returning with more intention.

For years, I wanted to invest in professional product photography, but I kept hesitating because of the cost.

This past year, I decided to stop letting fear make my decisions.

If I want to build something beautiful that serves this community well, I have to be willing to invest in excellence. As Muslims, we’re encouraged to strive for ihsan—doing things with excellence—and I wanted that to be reflected in every part of Hidaya Press.

Every detail matters to me—from the ingredients, to the packaging, to the photography. My goal was to create something that felt calm, intentional, and worthy of the women I hope to serve.

Alhamdulillah, after weeks of refining the vision, here is the final result. 🤍
