I’ve just put a new post on the blog at SaveDamian.com/blog with a short story from long before we knew anything was wrong with Damian’s health. It is a memory I think about often but not sure I’ve shared here before.

ASMD’s got nothing on a mom on a mission 🤜

We are raising money to develop lifesaving treatment for my son who is battling ASMD (aka “Baby Alzheimer’s”) 💙 We are hoping to reach a milestone of $1.18 million by May 24th (Damian’s birthday!) and we WILL DO IT if we can find 393 people willing to donate $24 each!! 🙏🙏

THANK YOU for your help!!! This treatment doesn’t just help my son, but every child battling ASMD now and in the future! We can do this!! 💙💙💙

So… my face got pooped on this week 😅 Motherhood is a WILD RIDE, am I right? One minute you are cleaning up an unspeakable mess and the next your 6-year-old is giving you the sweetest snuggling of your life. And then the next, you come across newborn photos and wonder how time can possibly go this fast.

It’s been a couple months since I’ve written a blog post, but I’ve been thinking a lot about Mother’s Day this week and wanted to get it out somehow, so here we are (link in bio or visit SaveDamian.com/blog to read it) 💙

Being a mother is hard, regardless of the circumstances. I don’t think Mother’s Day is for celebrating the hard though. I think it’s for expressing gratitude for *our* mothers and for honoring the community-strengthening women in our lives. THANK YOU for being our family’s village, our support system.

I’m so so grateful for you 🙏 Happy Mother’s Day!!
