Most people buying fish oil don’t know that omega-3s are one of the most unstable supplements on the shelf. Fish oil oxidizes and once it does, it’s rancid. The problem is you can’t always smell it. You can’t always taste it. It just looks like fish oil.

Oxidation happens fast. Heat, light, and air all accelerate it. By the time a bottle has been manufactured, shipped, warehoused, and shelved the clock has been running the whole time.
