Anamosa Area Ambulance Service has been made aware of a scam call circulating in our community. Individuals are receiving phone calls requesting their Medicare number and other personal information.

Please be advised that these calls are not affiliated with Anamosa Area Ambulance Service, Medicare, or any authorized healthcare organization.

To protect yourself:

Do not provide your Medicare number or personal information over the phone.
Hang up immediately if you receive a suspicious call.
Report suspected scams to local authorities or Medicare.

If you have questions or concerns about a call you have received, please contact the appropriate agency directly using a verified phone number.

It was brought to our attention that there was a post on our FB page about alumni shirts, this was a SCAM posting. I have blocked and removed that post.
AAAS will be working on a fundraiser shirt at a later date in 2026.
