Less weight can mean less strain on your joints.

When you’re living with chronic pain, even small changes can make a meaningful difference.

Excess weight can place added stress on the knees, hips, spine, and other joints—impacting how you move and feel each day. For some, even modest weight loss can help reduce that pressure, improve mobility, and support overall pain relief.

That’s why we take a comprehensive approach to care.

Pain management isn’t just about treating symptoms—it’s about understanding and addressing the factors that may be contributing to them.

If you’re looking for non-surgical options that support both your health and your quality of life, we’re here to help.

Please join us in welcoming Abbigail Osgood, PA-C to the Advanced Pain Centers of Alaska team. 🎉

Abbie is a knowledgeable and compassionate provider who brings clinical and surgical experience from her work in women’s health here in the Anchorage community.

Neck pain affects more than comfort — it affects how you move through your day.

Your neck supports your head, protects critical nerves, and helps your body function smoothly every day. But stress, poor posture, injuries, muscle tension, and everyday strain can all place pressure on the cervical spine.

Over time, that pressure can lead to:
✔️ Neck stiffness
✔️ Muscle tightness
✔️ Headaches
✔️ Reduced mobility
✔️ Ongoing discomfort

The good news? Neck pain can often be treated effectively with the right care plan.

At Advanced Pain Centers of Alaska, we help patients find relief with personalized treatment approaches designed to improve movement, reduce tension, and support long-term wellness.
