Summer time is here and that means it's time to peel off the winter layers and finally thaw out in the sunshine. It also means finally being able to show off that new tattoo.

But did you know that those UV rays can be a death sentence for your tattoo, literally "baking" out your bright hues?

To keep your ink vivid, it's important to slather on a sunblock, SPF 30 or higher at least an hour before stepping outside, anytime your tattoo will be exposed and reapply as necessary.

Cloudy days are just as bad a bright sunny ones, if not worse because most people do not realize that those clouds can actually amplify dangerous UV rays.

With the right care your tattoo will last you a lifetime :o)

This Saturday, May 9th we will be having a Mother's Day bash and you're all invited!

On Saturday, all mothers who come in and either book an appointment, receives a tattoo, or buys a gift certificate will get 10% off the final cost!

Military Mothers who show a valid military ID will receive 15% off!

Not a Mother? No problem! Her's how you can cash in on this special.

Anyone who comes in on Saturday and either books an appointment for a Mom tattoo, receives a Mom tattoo, or buys a gift certificate to get a tattoo dedicated to your Mom will also receive 10% off the cost of your service!

Well peeps I would like to say a couple of things this morning. When you come into a tattoo establishment there are some things you should consider. The art on your body takes time it's not done over night.

We ask that you put down a deposit for appointment and or drawing fees. This is not a new thing in this business.

We ask that you pay for your tattoo upfront on your scheduled day of your procedure.

If you are getting a huge piece please keep in mind we give you an estimate on cost and sometimes there's things beyond our control when doing this. Some people's skin take ink differently if it takes longer than expected we charge hourly period.

Please don't come into our shop and expect us to haggle saying things like " my friend said he could do it for 30.00." My next question would be is why are you here wasting my time. Another thing to consider is will your friend do a 30.00 tattoo and give you hepatitis c or a staphylococcus infection and or another blood born illness.

Great tattoos are not cheap there is countless hours that go into creating art that will last you a lifetime. If have enough money to buy that Gucci purse or Prada or hell even some 200.00 Jordans you should save enough to get a quality tattoo that will last a lifetime.

One last thing. Our hours are 12pm to 9pm Tuesday through Saturday.
