Let's Talk Balance, Dizziness, and Staying Independent!
Have you ever stood up and felt a little unsteady?

Do you occasionally feel dizzy, off-balance, or less confident walking than you used to? If so, you're not alone—and that's exactly why we're excited to welcome Sam Lucas from United Physical Therapy to BFit & Well Annex!

Sam specializes in helping people improve their balance, reduce dizziness, and regain confidence in their movement. While balance may seem simple, it actually depends on several systems working together—including your eyes, inner ears, muscles, joints, and brain. As we age, those systems can change, making everyday activities more challenging. During this fun and informative presentation, Sam will help us better understand:

• Why balance changes as we age
• The surprising role your inner ear plays in stability
• Common causes of dizziness and unsteadiness
• How balance problems increase fall risk
• What therapists look for when assessing balance
• Practical strategies that can help improve stability and confidence

Most importantly, you'll learn that balance is something we can train and improve.

Whether you're currently experiencing dizziness, want to prevent future falls, or simply want to stay active and independent for years to come, this presentation will be packed with useful information you can put to work right away.
