🗻Dr. Green loves exploring in and around Chugach State Park with his family and finding ways to enjoy the outdoors year-round. In the summer, you'll often find him mountain biking, and when winter arrives, he's taken up cross-country skiing.
And when we asked Dr. Green to share something people might be surprised to learn about him, his answer was too good not to quote: "I deeply enjoy operating construction machinery." If you know Dr. Green, somehow this makes perfect sense, and makes us smile!

Today, on National Medical Dosimetrist’s Day, we’re proud to recognize Mark and the important work he does for our patients every day.🎗

Behind every radiation treatment plan is an incredible amount of precision, expertise, and care. Medical dosimetrists work closely with the radiation oncology team to develop treatment plans designed to target cancer while protecting healthy tissue, and Mark brings that skill and dedication to each patient he serves.

🌄Some people collect souvenirs. Dr. Magnuson collects mountain summits! As our medical director and one of our highly respected radiation oncologists, he spends his days caring for patients. When he's off the clock, you'll most likely find him hiking in the Chugach Mountains or exploring National Parks with his family.

⛰Here's something you might not guess: Dr. Magnuson has summited 47 of Colorado's 58 fourteeners🤯- mountains that rise more than 14,000 feet above sea level. With just 11 peaks left, he's well on his way to reaching an incredible goal.

Whether he's hiking Alaska's trails or tackling Colorado's highest peaks, Dr. Magnuson brings a genuine love of adventure to everything he does. We're lucky to know him not only as a dedicated physician, but as someone who's always ready for the next climb.

👋Meet Rachel Ketchum, Front Desk Coordinator with our Integrative Care Team! Born and raised in Anchorage, Rachel brings a warm and welcoming spirit to our growing Integrative Care Team. Before joining AROC, she spent three years with the Anchorage School District and also has a background in culinary arts.

Outside of work, Rachel loves hiking, paddle boarding, reading, painting, and spending time with her two cats and two bearded dragons!
