Our AG Bell families will not be required to apply through the new lottery system. Camp Westwind is generously holding spaces for us, but they will be limited. We suggest you register when you receive the information from us in the next few months.

Intro to Climbing for Kids in the Deaf & Hard of Hearing Community! Curriculum will mirror Alaska Rock Gym Intro to Climbing regularly scheduled Intro for Kids class, but they will have interpreters available as needed. Ages 5 to 13 years!

Intro to Climbing for Kids in the Deaf & Hard of Hearing Community! Curriculum will mirror Alaska Rock Gym's regularly scheduled Intro for Kids class, but they will have interpreters available as needed. Anyone within the Deaf & Hard of Hearing community can sign up!!! Registration is open NOW! Intro to Climbing for Kids is an orientation class for first time climbers that have not participated in ARGs youth programming before. Over the course of 4 weeks, kids learn the basics of the indoor climbing gym: how to navigate around the bouldering area, fall on the boulder pads, and brave the heights of the roped climbing walls. This class is designed to be taken once.
Appropriate for kids ages 5 through 13 years.
The price is $150 for 4 weeks of climbing. Class meets on Saturday mornings from 10:00a-11:30a. Dates are listed below:
November 11th
November 18th
(skip Thanksgiving week)
December 2nd
December 9th
