Let’s call this confessions of a massage therapist.
First of all for some reason we are either first to get a massage or absolutely way over the time past due-years worth overdue. So check ✔️ that second box 📦 for me 🙋♀️ (way past time).
My husband scheduled me a 30 minute massage. He knows that I am always busy but that I need the work done and 30 minutes fits just right- for now. 😉 Don’t ever underestimate a 30 minute massage. For some people medically or personally, that’s all they can do or want to do.
I have my own battles with vertigo that make me feel like I’m a complicated client because sometimes I just can’t lay flat or with my face in the face cradle because it makes me dizzy when I sit up. Therefore yep, I get anxious BEFORE my appointment. Once the massage therapist hands are working the calmness instills and I start to relax and let my muscles melt.
POST massage…I say this to my own clients but I really noticed it today- 😂 Massage Brain.. the relaxation & mental fog. Temporary but it was there.
I think it’s important to know that massage is so good for the muscles, recovery, relaxation, stress and so much more. If you have special accommodations that we need to modify, if you have anxiety about your appointment or maybe you have never had a massage or even had a bad experience before with massage-I am here to help!! I will work with you to the best that I can to make sure we get the best results for you!! 🙌
To schedule an appointment or any questions please feel free to send me a message here or you can text me (907) 750-6909. Text works best in case I’m with a client, it allows me time to get back with you.
