We are so proud of our Connections Foster Care program at New Foundations. Jane, Robyn, and Janean are welcoming, supportive, and knowledgeable. Since 2020, our program has supported countless foster children in our communities. And since 2020, we have been so blessed to see 16 of those children be adopted into the families where they were fostered. See the pics of #15 and #16 from this year. NFHFC is so appreciative of our partnership with Tri-County Technical College. Their nursing program students have started back for the summer! These students and others spend time with our kids at Standridge Road as a part of their learning. We love to see their faces in the hallways and living areas. Thank you!

We do what we do to make the lives of children and families better. We serve the vulnerable through our residential group homes, foster care, family preservation, and transportation services across the state. We are working to make South Carolina better. One way we stay on top of what's happening in our industry is through the Annie E. Casey Foundation's Kids COUNT data book. Today is the anniversary of the passing of our dear friend, Donna Welborn. We remember her and all those lost in the NF family over the last few years. Donna, Calvin, Carla, Jerome, Mike, and Charlie all made an impact on us. May you continue to rest in peace and power, friends.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Watson Family! They opened their hearts and look what happened - AFTER 3 years and 4 months of fostering Trayvon!!! The Watsons are a part of our Connections Foster Care program. They are still fostering, and adoption is now a part of their journey too. Congratulations to this beautiful family!
