Trish Gent / Wellness Empowerment Coaching RN | Identity & Nervous System Coach for high-capacity women navigating perfectionism That's when I discovered the missing piece: nervous system regulation.

ABOUT WELLNESS EMPOWERMENT COACHING

I'm Trish Gent, an integrative life coach who helps perfectionists, people-pleasers, and overthinkers break free from chronic stress and constant overthinking. For over two decades, I worked as a registered nurse, checking every box and building a life that looked successful on paper. But inside, I was exhausted, anxious, and running on fumes—doing everything "right" and still waking up with anxiety that wouldn't quit. I learned that you can't think your way out of anxiety. You can't mindset-hack your way to peace. True freedom comes from rewiring your nervous system—teaching your body it's safe to slow down, rest, and trust yourself again. Today, I blend nervous system science with Kundalini yoga practices to help high-achieving women:

✓ Stop overthinking and second-guessing every decision
✓ Break free from perfectionism and people-pleasing patterns
✓ Regulate their nervous system so rest feels safe (not scary)
✓ Build grounded confidence that doesn't depend on external validation
✓ Create sustainable success without burning out

MY APPROACH:
The Freedom Framework combines nervous system science, somatic practices, Kundalini yoga, breathwork, and change management principles to create real, lasting transformation—not just temporary relief. This isn't about adding more to your plate. It's about finally feeling FREE in your own life. Ready to stop managing your anxiety and start mastering your energy? Let's connect. 💫

Space is a container.

It can be physical or mental. Busy or quiet. Tidy or cluttered. Calm or noisy.

And it’s an investment. It takes our time, our energy, and sometimes our money. We pay for a bigger home, a week off, a vacation, because we know space is freedom.

But a lot of us are uncomfortable with the empty kind. So we fill it. The TV. The scroll. The podcast. The to-do list.

Maybe because empty feels like a void.

But the void is where choice lives. It’s the space we’ve been looking for.

What do you tend to fill yours with?

How quickly our mind shifts.

I’m sitting in this new, empty space, and my brain starts to spin.

Pretty quickly the old pattern kicks in. What am I going to say? What am I going to do? How should I present it? Videos? Reels? Blah, blah, blah.

And honestly, that’s probably why I kept the old page going. Underneath, it’s natural to want to fill the empty space.

It’s funny that this is coming up now. This summer, I was journaling about space.

Ahh, universe. You always provide what we need, even when it doesn’t look like what we pictured.

So here we go. A flow of consciousness, and our relationship with it.

How do you navigate between what you desire and the reality of getting there?

I deleted everything on this page. And I can’t tell you why.

I just felt a pull, so I followed it. No clear reason. No clear line of site. No plan. And if you know me, that’s not how I work. I love a process!

But at some point, we all want a clean slate.

In the big moments, when life feels like too much. When we’re grieving people, relationships, dreams, or whole chapters.

And in the small ones. The extra piece of cake. The day we feel we “wasted” because the to-do list didn’t get done.

So what are we really looking for? To erase the past? To start over?

Or is it the hope that lights up at the start of something new?

When do you feel the pull for a fresh start? 🤍

What if moving forward didn’t require pushing harder?

As summer ends and life starts to feel busy again, it can be easy to move straight into the next season, the next responsibility, the next plan, or the end-of-year rush.

We ask ourselves:

What do I need to do next?

But sometimes a better question is:

What am I still carrying that I need space to process first?

That’s the heart of The Exhale.

A monthly therapeutic Kundalini Yoga experience for anyone feeling emotional heaviness, life change, stress, anxiety, burnout, overthinking, caregiving fatigue, or disconnection from themselves.

For 90 minutes, there’s nowhere else you need to be and nothing you need to accomplish.

Just space to breathe, move gently, listen inward, and be supported in community.

Through intentional breathwork, accessible movement, mantra, meditation, and optional reflection, we create space to come back into the body and reconnect with yourself.

Not to force an answer.
Not to “fix” yourself.
Not to push your way into clarity.

But to leave feeling more calm, clear, present, and connected.

People often tell me they feel better after class — lighter, steadier, and more like themselves.

There’s a reason I called this experience The Exhale.

Because sometimes what we need isn’t another thing to accomplish, fix, or figure out.

Sometimes we need somewhere to put down what we’ve been carrying.

If you’ve been feeling the emotional heaviness of life change, stress, anxiety, burnout, caregiving, overthinking, or feeling disconnected from yourself, this space was created for you.

The Exhale is a monthly therapeutic Kundalini Yoga experience designed to help you process the previous month, reconnect with yourself and others, and prepare for what’s ahead.

It’s a pause.

A place to breathe.
A place to soften.
A place to come back to yourself before moving into the next season, the next responsibility, or the next chapter.

As a Registered Nurse, Therapeutic Kundalini Yoga Instructor, and Transformational Coach, I created The Exhale as a grounded, supportive space for nervous system regulation, reflection, and reconnection.

🧘We’ll use breathwork, accessible movement, mantra, meditation, and optional journaling to quiet some of the mental noise and create space for clarity, calm, and presence.

And no — you don’t need yoga experience.
You don’t need to be flexible.
You can participate from the floor or from a chair.

Come exactly as you are.

Our first Monthly Exhale is Sunday, September 27 from 11–12:30 at for Harriet & Agnes in Sussex, NJ.

This gathering is intentionally limited to 8 spots so the space can feel personal, supportive, and connected.

📝Bring a journal if you’d like. Mats and bolsters are included in the signup details.

Aligned and Alive: Reclaiming Your Energy, Hormones & Soul Purpose

Wednesday, September 9 | 6:00–7:30 PM MST
5:00–6:30 PM PST | 8:00–9:30 PM EST

What happens when the version of you who has always held it all together… is freaking exhausted from holding it all together?

That’s part of what we’re talking about Wednesday night.

I’m joining the closing panel of The Women’s Burnout Recovery Blueprint: Energy, Hormones & Purpose, a free live online summit happening September 8–9.

And our conversation is all about what it actually means to feel aligned and alive again.

Because alignment isn’t about having your whole life figured out.

It’s not about finding the perfect morning routine, fixing yourself, or becoming so “regulated” that nothing ever rattles you.

And it definitely isn’t another thing to get right. 😉

Sometimes alignment starts with realizing:

The way you’ve been living doesn’t fit anymore.

The pushing.
The over-responsibility.
The control.
The identity built around being the capable one everyone can count on.

Those patterns may have helped you get where you are.

But what happens when they start costing you more than they’re giving you?

That’s the conversation I’m excited to have.

We’ll share the real stories behind our own shifts — what challenged us, what changed us, and what it looks like to keep showing up for the people and purpose that matter to us without abandoning ourselves in the process.

If you’re somewhere in that weird in-between of…

“I know I can’t keep doing it this way, but I’m not totally sure what comes next…”

Come hang out with us.

Free to attend. I’d love to see you there.

For a long time, I thought burnout meant I was working too much.

So the solution seemed pretty obvious:

Work less.

Take a bath.
Read a book for fun.
Go for a walk.
Get a massage.
Take the vacation.

You know… the watered-down version of “self-care.”

And I checked the boxes.

But here was the problem:

It didn’t work.

I could stop working and still be “on.”

My body could be sitting on the couch while my brain was solving problems, replaying conversations, planning tomorrow, and wondering what I forgot to do today.

Eventually, I realized there was much more going on.

Burnout wasn’t only exhaustion from doing too much.

It was exposing how disconnected I had become from myself.

Physically.
Mentally.
Emotionally.
Spiritually.

For years, I had gotten really good at overriding myself.

Push through.
Handle it.
Be responsible.
Keep going.

Until my body got louder.

Burnout is more than a signal.

It’s screaming when every other part of yourself has been silenced.

And THAT is why I’m excited to be part of The Women’s Burnout Recovery Blueprint: Energy, Hormones & Purpose, a FREE live online summit happening September 8–9.

Because burnout has many shapes.

This event brings together health practitioners, wellness experts, leadership coaches, and female entrepreneurs to talk about the different ways burnout shows up — and what it actually takes to come back to yourself.

And I’ll be joining the closing panel on Wednesday evening:

Aligned and Alive: Reclaiming Your Energy, Hormones & Soul Purpose

We’ll be talking about what happens when the identity that got you this far — the achiever, caretaker, fixer, dependable one — starts costing you more than it’s giving you.

And how you begin finding your way back to the person underneath all that responsibility.

Wednesday, September 9
6:00–7:30 PM MST
5:00–6:30 PM PST | 8:00–9:30 PM EST

Free to attend.

The Women’s Burnout Recovery Blueprint: Energy, Hormones & Purpose

FREE Live Online Summit | September 8–9, 2026

You’re probably very good at holding it all together.

You show up. You handle things. You take care of people. You keep moving.

And from the outside? You may even look like you’re doing just fine.

But inside, you’re tired.

Not I need a good night’s sleep tired.

The kind of tired that comes from being “on” for so long, you’re not even sure what it would feel like to fully exhale.

And maybe the things that used to work — pushing harder, staying organized, being the dependable one, keeping everything under control — aren’t working anymore.

That doesn’t mean you need to try harder.

It might mean your body is asking for a different way forward.

That’s what The Women’s Burnout Recovery Blueprint is about.

For two days, health practitioners, wellness experts, leadership coaches, and female entrepreneurs are coming together to talk about what’s really underneath burnout — your energy, hormones, nervous system, identity, and sense of purpose.

Because recovery isn’t about squeezing another self-care routine onto your already ridiculous to-do list. 😉

It’s about understanding what your body has been trying to tell you.

Free to attend. Two days. Four powerful panel discussions.

Morning: 9:00–10:30 AM MST
(8:00 AM PST / 11:00 AM EST)

Evening: 6:00–7:30 PM MST
(5:00 PM PST / 8:00 PM EST)

You don’t need another gold star for pushing through.

Maybe it’s time to create a version of success that actually feels good to live.

Thinking Out Loud ☕️

For a long time, I thought consistency came from discipline.

Set the goal.

Make the plan.

Follow through.

And to be fair…

that approach got me pretty far.

But somewhere over the last five years, something shifted.

Not because I became more disciplined.

If anything, I already had enough discipline.

What changed was my relationship with movement.

Walking stopped being something I did to prove I was taking care of myself.

It became one of the ways I actually do.

Some weeks I walk every day.

Some weeks I don’t.

The biggest difference?

I don’t make missing a day mean I’ve failed.

I just come back to it.

Lately I’ve been wondering if that’s what sustainable change actually looks like.

Not doing something perfectly.

Not keeping an unbroken streak.

Just building a relationship with yourself that’s kind enough to keep coming back.

💛 I’d love to know…

Has there been something in your life that stopped feeling like another task on your to-do list…

and became something you genuinely wanted to return to?
