The older you get, the more you realize how rare it is to be truly known in the smallest ways. To have someone remember the exact character that makes your heart happy, and to notice the little pieces of you that could so easily go unseen in a busy world.

We’ve been thinking about The summers we remember forever. That nostalgia… perhaps it’s a feeling we crave that has less to do with the past, and everything to do with how we want to feel right now.

Salt on the skin. Late dinners that blur into midnight. The thrill of finally feeling at home in your own body. We talk about summer like it’s a season, but really, it’s a reckoning with confidence.

She stops deleting every photo of herself.
She puts the dress on instead of leaving it in the closet.
She lets her friends post the picture.
She walks into dinner thinking about the evening instead of her insecurities.
She catches her reflection unexpectedly and looks happy there.

We get to witness those moments every day at Med 1. Women preparing for beach trips, first dates, weddings, reunions, fresh starts, hard conversations, easier seasons, better summers.

Cheers to the dynamic duo. 🥂✨

The front desk is always this wonderful, magnetic blur. It’s early morning energy, phones ringing, appointments juggling, and patients bursting through the door excited. It’s someone frantically asking for parking advice, someone needing a moment of reassurance, and someone else laughing halfway through a story that has the entire room on the edge of our seats.

And who manages it all? Our Queens who never let our own crowns slip, Heidi and Derrian.

They’re the ones who remember the exact little things that make you feel so seen. The vacation you were aching to take. The wedding coming up in October. Which patients need an extra hug on a hard day… which of us needs one too.

They each embody a sweetness you just can't teach. Heidi and Derrian are stitched right into the spirit of Med 1, and the whole place just feels lighter and brighter the second they walk in. We could never properly put into words how much we love these beautiful girls. 🤍
