Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, Maternal-Fetal Medicine - West Arbor We look forward to caring for you and your baby.

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, Maternal-Fetal Medicine - West Arbor is dedicated to treating women with high-risk pregnancies to provide a healthy life for mothers and babies. Maternal-fetal medicine physicians, also called perinatologists, are obstetricians who specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care of expectant mothers and their developing babies, who may be at high risk for special health problems. Women are generally referred to a maternal-fetal medicine specialist by their obstetrician or by an infertility specialist because he or she sees a potential for a pregnancy-related health concern or because a problem develops during the pregnancy. In most cases, you will continue care with your current prenatal care provider and the team at MFM will work hand-in-hand with them to develop a plan of care tailored to your personal needs and medical history. However, if it's best to transfer your maternity care to our office we will be pleased to partner with you for your prenatal care and promptly communicate to your referring provider all test results and recommendations. Our practice, following the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) guidelines, supports vaccination for all persons pregnant, lactating, and trying to conceive.

As parents and caregivers, it’s important to recognize warning signs that a child or teen may be struggling:
• Significant changes in mood or behavior
• Withdrawing from friends or family
• Expressing feelings of hopelessness
• Talking about death, su***de, or self-harm

You are not alone. Our Pediatric Behavioral Health Collaborative Care Team, including social workers, psychiatrists, and other behavioral health professionals, is here to support children, teens, and families when they need it most.
