The second episode of Rise to Face the Sun: The Patient Experience on SARC Talk features Sabina Ghebremedhin, dropping this Friday, May 29.

Sabina joins us to speak about her daughter, Natasha Allen — a creator and advocate who shook the sarcoma community with her unmatched radiance.

Across five years living with synovial sarcoma, Natasha built a community of 220,000+ followers with work that was funny, candid, and refused the tired scripts handed to young people with cancer. She was a founding AYA Committee member at the SFA, the inaugural Sarcoma Stories guest, and helped design a mentorship program that launched in her name after her death.

Now her mother is here to carry that light forward — speaking about diagnostic delays, the Natasha Allen Research Fund, and Natasha’s posthumous honor at CancerCon 2026, where she had been scheduled to give the opening keynote the morning she passed away.

Get ready to be moved by the kind of love that lives beyond death.

May Natasha rest in power: November 21, 1996 – August 22, 2025.

Living with a rare cancer like EHE often means navigating uncertainty—variable disease progression, limited treatment options, and few established care pathways.

Patient voices are essential in shaping research and improving care.

A cancer diagnosis in your teens, 20s, or 30s impacts more than your health.

Fertility. Careers. Mental health.

AYA patients need care models that address the full picture—not just treatment.
