Be somewhere else. Whether that’s in a bath with a good book; taking some me time with a face mask and a cup of tea; or simply getting outside for some fresh air, we’re encouraging our customers to stop scrolling and be somewhere else instead. We're saying goodbye to Facebook until this platform can provide a safer environment for its users. The serious effects of social media on mental health are being ignored by this platform. It’s time to stop scrolling and be somewhere else. We want to engage with you in places that look after you and your mental wellbeing. Read more: https://www.lushusa.com/social-departure.html

We believe the death penalty is flawed and does not bring justice. Julius Jones is scheduled to be executed tomorrow for a crime he did not commit. Stand with us and ask Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt to grant Julius clemency.

Governor Stitt, the life of Julius Jones rests in your hands. Please save his life, grant him the ability to hug his momma and make up for the 22 years already served for a crime he did not commit.

Hi my beautiful Lushies! It's me, your favorite Snow Fairy ✨ I'm here to share one of my best kept skin secrets with you all... are you ready?

Cleansing balms! They're all the rage, and for good reason. 💗 This Sleepy Face Naked Cleansing Balm, is simply the best at removing dirt and makeup from the day. Rub between your palms until you've worked up enough oil, then set the bar aside and massage onto skin in gentle circular motions. Wipe clean with a warm, damp cloth. You'll be left with soothed, velvety-soft skin and the relaxing scent of lavender absolute to send you off to dreamland 💤

On September 1, 2021 Texas’ unprecedented abortion ban, Senate Bill 8, went into effect. This law bans abortion at approximately six weeks. It also grants almost anyone the power to sue someone for “aiding and abetting” a pregnant person seeking abortion care, and potentially being awarded $10,000 or more for their vigilantism.

Lush is one of over 50 companies in Texas which supports the initiative as we believe with S.B. 8, the future of gender equality hangs in the balance, putting our families, communities, businesses, and the economy at risk. Our nineteen shops in Texas are campaigning with the ACLU to stand together to protect safe healthcare, including abortion, for all.

What makes me so magical? Watch as Lionel takes us through how we make our Snow Fairy Lights Gift Bath Bomb (my favorite sweet 'n' pink fizzer) with Guen the Compounder. It all starts with creating its signature pink color, followed by ethically-sourced essential oils to give it that familiar cotton candy scent that I'm known for. Those are all mixed together with skin-softening baking soda and a plastic-free luster so it sparkles even before it hits your water. Enjoy it all once or savor this one over three separate baths!

Every year, I (Snow Fairy) flutter into your lives and onto shelves, signifying the beginning of the holiday season. The Snow Fairy range of pink bubbles, fizz, and foam with that signature cotton candy scent has been a returning fave for years and years.

To ring in the season this year, I have been brought to life in an bespoke animation that was created by our Lush UK team. In this video, Hannah Marks chats with Group Digital Director Jack Constantine about how Snow Fairy's ascent into the magical world of animation came to be, and how we want to inspire folks to feel confident, be wrapped in kindness, and always have the courage to be themselves. Snow Fairy has taken on a life all its own and is here to spread kindness and joy to everyone this holiday season.

On November 18th an innocent man may be executed. In 1999 Julius Jones was arrested for the murder of Paul Howell. At the time of the murder, Julius was at home eating dinner with his family. The jury never heard this evidence nor other inconsistencies in the case and there is evidence that some jurors displayed a racial bias against Julius. Julius was wrongfully convicted and sentenced to death.

Julius has spent over 20 years—half his life—on death row. Further evidence has since come to light indicating his innocence, including an admission of guilt by someone else.

On November 1st the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board voted 3-1 to recommend clemency for Julius and to commute his sentence to life in prison with the possibility of parole. In fact, this is the second time in three months that the Pardon and Parole Board has voted to save Julius' life.

Lush campaigns for the abolition of the death penalty and stands with more than one million people who are urging Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt to act on the advice of the Pardon and Parole Board and grant Julius Jones the recommended clemency.

At this time, we are not changing our safety measures and will continue to require customers to wear masks in our store. Upon entry, we are also asking that our customers use either hand sanitizer or choose a complementary piece of soap to wash their hands at our sink. Our goal is to keep our customers and our staff safe and feeling comfortable in our shop.
