On Labor Day, we’re honoring a kind of real labor that deserves to be seen.

Surrogates don’t simply “carry a baby.” Becoming a surrogate takes strength, generosity, and courage.

They commit to months of pregnancy while navigating appointments, medications, physical changes, uncertainty, and all the ordinary and extraordinary demands that come with growing a baby for someone else.

They make room in their lives for a journey that will change them, knowing they will eventually place that baby into the arms of the parents who have been waiting for them.

So today, we celebrate the women who choose to do this extraordinary work and recognize the very real labor behind every journey.

To every gestational carrier: we see what you gave. We see what you carried. And we are grateful for you.🤍

Happy Labor Day.

What do you wish people understood about being a surrogate?

Maybe it’s something people assume is easy.

Maybe it’s something they’re always curious about but never quite ask.

Maybe it’s the emotional part. The physical part. The logistics...

There’s so much more to gestational surrogacy than people might realize. So today, we’re asking the question:

Gestational carriers: What do you wish people understood?

If you've ever waited for a beta, you know it's so much more than a blood test.

Medically speaking, a beta measures one hormone about 10 days after an embryo transfer. That's it.

But for the people waiting? It's everything.

For intended parents, it's the answer to a question they've been carrying for months, and sometimes years. Every appointment, every setback, every ounce of hope can feel like it leads to this one phone call.

For a surrogate, it's the moment she learns whether all of the injections, medications, appointments, and care she's poured into this journey are helping another family move one step closer to meeting their baby.

And for us? We know the whole story. We know how much courage, trust, and teamwork it took to get to this day.

So when that number comes back positive, it doesn't just feel like a lab result.

It feels like the beginning of a family's next chapter. 💙

Watch today's video to learn why beta day is one of the most meaningful milestones in the surrogacy journey, and why we'll never stop celebrating it.
