Our own Cinderella Story

Anthony Community Care was founded in June of 2000. It had been owned by a large corporation and was slated to be closed. A group got together and started to work to keep the home open. It was purchased from the corporation by a loan from the City of Anthony. The home needed much work from years of poor maintenance. The community came together and roofed, painted and rai

sed money for further repairs. Now, 9 years later, Anthony Community Care Center is a 501C3, not for profit, community home that everyone can be proud of. The loan has been paid off, the home is stable and fully staffed by community professionals that truly care about their elders.

🍎 Hello, September! 🍂
We’re starting the month off on a sweet note! Today our residents made their very own Apple Pie in a Cup, complete with graham crackers, yummy apple pie filling, whipped topping, and a little sprinkle of cinnamon! There were plenty of smiles, laughs, and of course… taste testing! 😋❤️ Nothing says fall is on the way quite like apple pie!
Here’s to a September full of fun, good food, and even better company! 🍁🍎
