Reminder!
Teen Orientation Classes are available on Wednesday at 4pm or Thursday at 10:30am!

Teen ages 11-13 yrs are able to complete our Teen Orientation and be in the facility WITHOUT a parent!

Completing the Teen Orientations gives teens some freedom and autonomy in our building, allowing them to use the wellness floor, gym, lobby space, studios, take some* classes and our pool (if they have also gotten their black band) without direct parent supervision!

This week Kraft Family YMCA THRIVERs enjoyed a 2 hour boat ride on Jordan Lake with Captain Dave of Jordan Lake Tours, celebrating 20 years in business. He offers great, affordable, informative tours of Jordan Lake, its history and we see and learn so much about the wildlife. All ages welcome. Highly recommend AND special thanks to Gerald for his amazing photos!

We are excited to honor and recognize Juneteenth this Friday here at The Kraft Family YMCA. We will have a short video playing in the lobby, along with coloring sheets that will lead you through the history and impact of what today is all about. Special guest Wanda Simpkins, YMCA advisory board member, will be selling her book and signing copies as well on Friday, 11:30am-12:30pm. Books are $40.95 via Venmo, Cash App, cash, and tap. Middle Schoolers are invited to take over the Kraft Family Y on Fri., June 26 from 7 - 9 p.m. for an evening of volleyball, basketball, slime and bracelet making, snacks and community, just for teens. This event is FREE for teen members and their guests ages 11 - 14. All teens must register online by June 25 at 5 p.m. or with a parent upon arrival. ➡️

MOVIE ON THE LAWN UPDATE:

Due to excessive heat and an increasing risk of thunderstorms we are cancelling the Movie on the Lawn event for this friday, June 12th.

Our next Movie on the Lawn will be Friday, July 10th.
