The Brunswick Physical Therapy Cary and Apex teams recently enjoyed a great day of networking and community connection at Lochmere Golf Club. ⛳️

We loved meeting local professionals, sharing more about our clinics, and having conversations about health, movement, injury prevention, and recovery. Opportunities like these allow us to connect with the communities we serve while building relationships that extend beyond the clinic walls.

Pre-season training matters — but how you train matters even more. 🏃‍♂️⚾️🏐

Brunswick Physical Therapy Apex is sharing important reminders for youth athletes, parents, and active individuals preparing for upcoming sports seasons.

Research shows that athletes who specialize in only one sport may face a significantly higher risk of overuse injuries. Building a strong foundation before jumping into high-intensity sport-specific work can help improve performance while protecting long-term joint and tissue health.

✅ Focus on building strength first
✅ Progress gradually over time
✅ Introduce power and agility closer to competition
✅ Avoid repetitive year-round sport-specific stress

The goal isn’t just to perform better this season — it’s to stay healthy for many seasons to come.

As we recognize Men’s Health Month, we’re excited to host the Apex Chamber AM Networking Event on June 16, 2026 from 7:45 AM – 9:30 AM at our Apex clinic location.

The morning will include:
• Networking & community connection
• Energizing circuit training
• Conversations around health, wellness, and injury prevention
• A fun and active way to start the day

Our goal is to bring people together while encouraging healthy habits that support long-term physical and mental well-being both inside and outside the clinic.

We’d love to see team members, community partners, and local professionals there!

A big moment for our Apex clinic ✂️

We had the opportunity to officially celebrate with a ribbon cutting last week, joined by members of the community — including the Mayor — as we opened our doors and welcomed patients into the space.

We’re proud to bring Brunswick PT to Apex and grateful for the warm welcome. The clinic is up and running, and our team is ready to get to work helping people move better, feel better, and get back to what matters most.
