Pain with tampon insertion is more common than many people realize—but it isn't normal.

If inserting a tampon causes pain, burning, or significant discomfort, tight pelvic floor muscles may be part of the problem. Pelvic floor physical therapy can help address muscle tension, improve relaxation, and make tampon use more comfortable.

You don't have to just "push through" the pain. Effective treatment is available. 💜

Had a wonderful time educating an amazing group of ladies at Life Time Bloomington about pelvic floor health and why it matters so much for women’s overall health and quality of life.

A big thank you to Sandra for helping organize this event and creating the opportunity to have these important conversations.

I’m grateful to continue spreading awareness about pelvic floor health because so many women silently struggle with issues they think they just have to “live with.” The truth is — you do not have to accept pelvic floor issues as normal.

Education, awareness, and the right support can truly change lives, and I’ll continue doing my part to spread the word. 💜

Grateful to attend the Fourhorsemen course in Tacoma this weekend. Building my skills to better support men’s pelvic health—because yes, men have a pelvis too.

Surviving cancer doesn’t mean your body feels normal again.

Too many women are left dealing with symptoms like leakage, pain with intimacy, pelvic tightness, and GI issues—and are told nothing about it.

So they stay quiet.
And assume it’s something they just have to live with.

That’s not true.

Pelvic floor therapy can help address these symptoms and support your recovery after treatment.

You don’t have to settle for “just getting by.”

If this sounds familiar, it might be time to get support.

I see this more often than people realize.

Women quietly adjusting their lives around leaking, discomfort, and pain.

Not because they want to ignore it—
but because they’ve been told, directly or indirectly, that it’s “normal.”

One patient told me she’s been dealing with it since her first child.

Over 40 years.

This is the reality for so many women.

We’ve normalized something that is actually treatable.

Pelvic floor symptoms are common.
They are NOT something you have to live with.

If this sounds like you, don’t wait decades—get it evaluated.

Shout out to Dr. Haggerty of Fourth Trimester Doc for filling such a critical gap in care for postpartum moms and babies.

I remember going home after having my baby. The pediatrician told me I needed to bring him in one week later for his check-up. I was just one week postpartum myself, carrying a car seat that weighed more than 15 pounds, trying to navigate recovery and new motherhood. That appointment was for the baby. I don’t remember seeing anyone for my own care for at least six weeks.

Dr. Haggerty has bridged this gap. She comes to you, mamas—providing care for both you and your newborn without you ever having to leave home.

Postpartum is such a crucial time. Moms need and deserve all the support they can get. 💛
