We at Moonrise Herbs are honored and happy to announce that we will be hosting the location for this year's Beginning with Herbs course, offered by Dandelion Herbal Center.

Summer burns bright
asking much of our bodies,
our hearts,
our nervous systems.
Even beneath the season's abundance,
we are allowed to soften.
Chamomile, spearmint, passionflower,
lemongrass, skullcap,
rose, lavender, and catnip
cooling hands of the plant world,
drawing us back to balance,
a cooling to the heat within.
The sun warms our skin.
The herbs cool our mind.
Every season brings its own allies,
with their own gentle medicine.
The plants know what we often forget
There is no rush.
The sun will rise again tomorrow.
Rest belongs here too.
