Well, this is a first! A customer took time out of their day to send us a thank-you card—and even included a $50 Texas Roadhouse gift card for helping with their scooter lift. Wow!

And yes, I gave the gift card to the technician who did the work. He earned it—even though I’m hungry and it wasn’t easy letting that one go! 😂

This is a Harmar Otolift with a power turning seat riding backwards up the stairs to safely navigate an extremely narrow staircase. It’s an incredible solution for homes where a standard stairlift simply won’t work.

The best part? The customer’s reaction after their first ride:

Behind every custom Otolift curved stairlift is a lot more than just a few measurements.

Sorry for the delay in posting! I’ve been out of town, and since I do all of Helping Wheels’ social media myself, finding time has been a little challenging.

These photos show the measurement and verification process for an Otolift curved stairlift. We place special markers on every step, the walls, and the landings. Then we take a series of photos. As each marker turns green in the software, we know we’ve captured the information needed to create an accurate 3D model of the staircase.

That model is then used to custom-build the rail for your home, helping ensure a precise fit before installation even begins.

The finished installation is still a few weeks away, but don’t worry—we’ll be sharing those pictures too!
