Let’s retire a few GLP-1 myths 👀

MYTH: GLP-1s are cheating.
FACT: Using a medically appropriate tool for weight management is treatment, not cheating.

MYTH: You’ll automatically lose muscle.
FACT: Muscle loss can happen with any significant weight reduction. Protein + resistance training can help preserve lean muscle.

MYTH: Higher dose = better results.
FACT: More isn’t always better. The goal is the lowest effective dose that works well for you.

MYTH: You can eat whatever you want.
FACT: GLP-1s aren’t a free pass. Nutrition still matters, especially when your appetite is lower.

MYTH: GLP-1s will make you go blind.
FACT: That claim is oversimplified.
They do not simply “cause blindness.” Some GLP-1 medications have warnings related to diabetic retinopathy, particularly in people with diabetes and pre-existing eye disease. Eye symptoms should always be reported promptly.

There’s a lot of fear-based GLP-1 info floating around. Ask questions, know the facts.
