Happy Active Aging Week 2026 💙

Thank you to all the residents that participated! Jessica Schnoor, Director of Resident Health Services kicked off the week with a presentation on ‘Supporting Mental Wellness’. We also brought in Masha from Vibrant Yoga to lead Meditation with sound bowls.

Back to school looked a little different this year for our group of residents! Thank you to Mark Gunther and the Hersey SOS class for taking us back to high school! 📚

The students come visit us once a month at Luther Village, this time we were on their home turf. We had lunch and a tour of the school with our new friends!

Luther Village residents and staff came together in pink to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month and stand in support of everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer. The journey can be difficult and deeply personal, but even a simple gesture like wearing pink can carry a powerful message of hope, strength, remembrance, and compassion. We may not all be able to change the struggle. We can all do something, raise awareness, support one another, and remind those facing breast cancer that they do not stand alone. Today, Luther Village wears pink, stands together, and hopes together. 🩷
