CABT certification demonstrates foundational skills in equipment maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and supporting biomedical technicians.

The online exam can be taken anytime within six months of purchase. Certification is active for five years and can help build toward advanced credentials like CBET or CRES.

Eligibility begins in junior year of high school. A 60-day wait applies to retakes.

The Franklin Weinberg Fund HTM Leadership Scholarship supports students and professionals pursuing advanced degrees in leadership or related fields.

The Michael J. Miller HTM Scholarship supports students pursuing careers in biomedical engineering, biomedical equipment technology, clinical engineering, and health systems engineering.
