SEEKING VETERANS AND ACTIVE-DUTY MILITARY FOR OPERATION ENDURING BRAIN HEALTH

Operation Enduring Brain Health is a research study conducted at UNT Health Fort Worth’s Institute for Translational Research. It’s designed for veterans and active service members seeking clarity, deeper understanding and a proactive path forward in their brain health. The research study focuses on understanding brain health in active service members and military veterans, including Texas Army National Guard, Texas Air National Guard and Texas State Guard.
Gain insights into your brain health, while helping us find answers for dementia.

To be eligible, participants must be
• 18 years old or older
• A veteran, active-duty military or member of the Texas Military Department.
• willing and able to complete advanced brain scans as part of the study process.
Benefits
• Participants will be compensated for participation and receive results.
• Participants will receive state-of-the-art evaluations (e.g., MRI and PET scans), which are often not covered by insurance, with results provided at no cost.
• The program offers a comprehensive baseline assessment, along with follow-up evaluations to monitor changes over time.
• Direct and personal service, supporting each participant’s health and well-being.
• Opportunities to join future novel clinical trials focused on protecting brain health and education resources.

The study is completed in person at UNT Health, 855 Montgomery St., Sixth Floor, Fort Worth, Texas 76107.

At Helping Restore Ability (HRA), our caregivers help Texans with disabilities live safely and with dignity in their own homes and communities.

But for many caregivers, making ends meet can be a challenge.

🧡 Our goal is to provide 100 Thankful Baskets to caregivers and their families this Thanksgiving!

Each basket includes the essentials for a traditional Thanksgiving meal, plus a gift card for a turkey. More than a meal, it's a heartfelt reminder that their dedication, compassion, and hard work don't go unnoticed.
