What if your obsession with keeping the weight off is the very thing keeping you from building the body you actually want?

You did the hard part. You lost the weight. You got lean.

But nobody prepares you for how mentally challenging it can be when the goal is no longer to get smaller.

Because now we need to BUILD.

More muscle. More strength. More food. Better performance.

And suddenly a fluctuating scale can make you question everything.

This is where coaching becomes so much more than handing someone a nutrition plan.

We have to unlearn the belief that lighter always means better.

Because if your waist is staying tight, your strength is increasing, your body composition is improving and you’re building the shape you actually want, the scale does not get to call that failure.

Sometimes your next level requires you to stop chasing your lowest weight.

If you’re lean but still not seeing the muscle, shape or strength you want, another cut may not be the answer.

You may need to BUILD.

DM me “BUILD” if you’re ready to figure out what your body actually needs next. 💚

Full circle. 💚

I remember my dad introducing me to strength training when I was young. I had no idea then how much that foundation would shape my life.

Now I’m 43, a pro bodybuilder, nutritionist, trainer and coach, and I get to pass that foundation on to my nine year old son.

Xavier has been around the gym since he was weeks old. He’s watched me train his entire life. Now he’s the one asking to get stronger, faster and better for soccer, and I get to be the one beside him teaching him how.

This isn’t about raising a bodybuilder. It’s about raising a strong, confident kid who understands that taking care of his body is something he gets to do for life.

Our kids are always watching. Sometimes the greatest thing we can teach them isn’t something we say. It’s something we live.

My dad gave that gift to me. Now I get to give it to my son. 🥹💚

Resilience isn’t always about being strong. Sometimes it’s simply choosing to keep moving forward.

You can be mad and still show up. You can feel sad and still find something to smile about. You can feel lonely and still create a life that feels full. You can be disappointed and still be excited about what’s ahead.

These last couple of months have been trying, to say the least, and life looks a little different than I thought it would right now. But different doesn’t mean bad, and it definitely doesn’t mean I’ve stopped moving forward.

I’m still training, still showing up, still building, still laughing, still loving my life, and still becoming.

I think that’s what resilience really is. It isn’t pretending everything is okay. It’s allowing yourself to feel whatever comes up while trusting that you’ll be okay, even when everything isn’t.

So if you’re in a season that looks a little different than you planned, keep moving through it. There can still be so much good waiting for you on the other side. 🤍

What does resilience look like for you right now?

September is the new January. 🔥

New coach. New protocol. One goal: grow these legs + glutes. 🍑

The training is only part of it. Protein gives my body what it needs to recover, repair, and build, which is why 1st Phorm Phormula 1 Clear has become a post workout staple. 22g of protein, light, refreshing, and easy to get down after a hard session.

Now it’s simple: follow the plan, fuel the work, trust the process.

Improvement season is ON. Let’s grow. 💪🏽

Want a different result? Stop negotiating with the parts of the plan you don’t like.

Eat all the food your coach put on your plan.

Follow the supplement protocol.

Do the exercise you hate. Better yet, do it first.

Take the feedback, make the adjustment, and keep moving.

After years of coaching and competing, I’ve learned that the uncomfortable part is usually trying to tell you something.

I live by the same standard I ask of my clients. Show up. Stay coachable. Follow the plan. And be honest about where you’re cutting corners.

None of us will execute perfectly every day. But you can’t keep avoiding the hard parts and expect a different result.

Growth isn’t always about doing more.

Sometimes it’s finally doing ALL of what you already know you need to do.

So instead of asking, “What else should I be doing?” ask yourself, “What do I already know I need to do that I keep avoiding?”

If you’re ready for a plan, accountability, and coaching that challenges you to follow through, DM me “READY.”
