Joe Levine, this man is 11 years into his journey of surviving pancreatic cancer. He is our Wednesday Warrior this week. The man has also beaten a potentially life-threatening heart problem and an issue with sepsis that he was completely unaware of if not for some mild symptoms. Joe's story reads a little less intense than some and it is not filled with a lot of details about his struggles to survive. However, Joe's story has one persistent and consistent theme when it comes his survival and the fact that he is " above the dirt" as he says. His wife and daughter would simply not allow Joe to ignore any symptom that came along and dragged him to get checked out by doctors. He admits, many of the things he was experiencing he may have ignored and carried on. The women in his life were not having any of it, at all. Here's to the women in your life Joe, may we all take a lesson and count those that love us in this life. Read Joe's story for yourself, it will be time well spent.
