This year, over 150 pancreatic cancer patients, survivors, and caretakers gathered in Milwaukee for our annual Power of Us conference to connect, learn, and inspire one another. BREAKING NEWS: New Hope in Pancreatic Cancer Treatment 💜

The FDA has approved Rasonque (daraxonrasib), a new targeted therapy for certain adults with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma.

In a clinical trial, median overall survival was 13.2 months with Rasonque compared with 6.7 months with standard chemotherapy.

For a disease with far too few treatment options, this is an important step forward and a powerful reminder of why research and clinical trials matter.

Today, there is progress. Today, there is more hope. 💜

Meet Evelyn Rogers, our Wednesday Warrior on this day. Evelyn has experienced the full ride in her survivorship. She found out about her pancreatic cancer, almost accidentally (like many others) and then she took on the fight. The struggles and test of endurance were very real. However, every warrior story seems to shine light on something important, something we should all take note of. Evelyn's survivorship journey is supported by what sounds like an army of caregivers and a focus on her own mental health through the process. Currently the road has brought her to helping others on their journey, the circle is complete. Evelyn has perspective, you should read about it yourself.

An Oconomowoc man wants to give hope to those fighting pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer has one of the highest mortality rates of all major cancers, with only 13% making it past year five.
