🌟 ANNOUNCING OUR 2026 COMMUNITY OUTREACH INITIATIVE 🌟

Each year, the incoming WSMA President selects a community outreach initiative for our society to support. This year, I am proud to announce our partnership with Hand to Hold—an organization that provides vital support and resources to families before, during, and after NICU stays. ❤️👶

As a NICU parent, I understand firsthand the challenges and uncertainties families face during this journey. Hand to Hold provided invaluable support to my family during a difficult time, and I am honored to help raise awareness for their services.

I am also deeply grateful to the dedicated NICU teams at Aurora BayCare Medical Center and Aspirus Wausau Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion they showed our family. The way both systems cheered on each one of those little warriors and took care of them like they were one of their own is an experience I hope no one must know, but if you do, those are the people you want in your corner. 🩺✨

THE INITIATIVE: New NICU Parent Bags
Together with Hand to Hold, WSMA will be providing New NICU Parent Bags at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay and Aspirus Wausau Hospital. These bags will contain essential items, educational resources, and support information to help families navigate their NICU experience.
HOW YOU CAN HELP (Donation Requests):
Donation collection tables will be available at our upcoming conferences. We are currently collecting travel-size items:
