Shepherd's Haven Shepherd's Haven is a ministry for adults with special needs. Shepherd's Haven, as of 1996, built its first home to house special needs male adults.

In 1991 a group of parents with special needs children came together wanting something more for their children and in 1992 this became a reality! Shepherd's Haven was founded to be a place special needs children, and now solely adults, could go and grow in their unique abilities with similar peers. This home was created with a warm, family, Christian environment in mind for each individual that lives here. Each resident has a room that is uniquely designed for their interests and abilities. Shepherd's Haven also has a Day Center located at Bellevue Baptist Church. The Day Center is open Monday - Friday from 9:00-3:30 for adults ages 20+. They learn to work together, build community involvement, crafting and much more.

Please note a few changes this year! The sides are cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole and a mac & cheese casserole. We no longer have gravy, relish or corn souffle from our supplier.

Also, we have added a red velvet cake!

Deadline to order is Wednesday, 11/18
Pick up is Tuesday, 11/24 (this is the only pickup time)

Did you know International Coffee Day is a great reason to celebrate community? ☕️ Our men and women gather monthly with Christ Methodist Church for Joy Life 901—a time for coffee, devotion, and fellowship with fellow believers.

These gatherings are one of the many ways our participants build meaningful relationships throughout the community. 💙

Please join us as we celebrate the life of Melinda McFall, our precious Ladies’ Home resident who passed away last week. Melinda was a beloved part of our Shepherd’s Haven family, and we look forward to gathering to honor her life, share memories, and celebrate the joy she brought to our community.

The Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 9, at 10:00 a.m. in the Bellevue Chapel, with a potluck lunch to follow at Bellevue.

In lieu of flowers, we invite you to make a donation to Shepherd’s Haven for a fund in memory of Melinda. These gifts will help other adults with disabilities live purposeful, meaningful lives by supporting community activities melinda would have enjoyed and opportunities to thrive and belong in a Christ-centered community—just as Melinda did.

A big thank-you to Mr. McKee for setting us up with tickets to the volleyball game. Our guys had a wonderful time getting out, showing their support, and being part of the Arlington community. We love cheering on our neighbors! 💙💛
