Nothing beats the heat like a glass of perfect iced tea or a frosty ice cream cone! To offer a little respite during these dog days of summer and also celebrate their 35th anniversary year, Texas Health Plano recently hosted a western-themed event. In addition to the summer treats and fun games, team members got to try their hand at calf-roping, thanks to hospital President Clint Abernathy (no real cows were used in this event). Team members also received a stamped leather keychain commemorating 35 years of service our community!

What a great day!

Congratulations to Texas Health Frisco for earning the Primary Stroke Center certification from Joint Commission, offered in collaboration with the American Heart Association.

Get to know Texas Health! Meet Saundra Denise Brown, M.S.N., R.N., NPD-BC, a Faith Community Nursing manager at Texas Health. Denise is in our employee spotlight and talks about how her role embodies her own faith.

Get to know Texas Health! Meet Antonio “Tony” Rios, a maintenance specialist for the hospital’s system engineering team at Texas Health Cleburne. Tony is in our employee spotlight and is always ready to roll up his sleeves.

When asked what is your favorite part of your job, Tony said, “I enjoy working on a variety of equipment and troubleshooting issues to get everything back to optimal operating condition. Each piece of equipment presents unique challenges, which keeps work interesting and allows me to continuously expand my technical skills."
