Nurses

Before you sign that U.S. nursing contract — pause. Ask. Think.

Many nurses get trapped not because they’re careless, but because they’re rushed. “Bora tu niko America” can cost you years.

Key risks to watch:
1. Low pay vs market – U.S. RN median ≈ $90k+; know your state rates
2. 3-year lock-in contracts with heavy exit penalties
3. Hidden costs (housing, transport, deductions)
4. Role mismatch (promised hospital vs actual assignment)
5. Agency control over your job, location, and mobility

Before signing, ask clearly:
1. What is my hourly rate + all deductions?
2. What unit, shift, and location am I guaranteed?
3. What is the exit clause + penalty (is it prorated?)
4. Who is my actual employer — agency or hospital?
5. What costs am I paying vs employer covering?

Normalize this:
You can say: “I’d like to review and discuss these terms before signing.”
Even ask for better pay or terms — it’s standard.

Bottom line:
Don’t chase America blindly.
Chase a fair contract, clear terms, and long-term positioning.
