❤️ We were excited to support the Armonk Has Heart initiative at Focal Physical Therapy this year!

In collaboration with the Armonk Art Show, we were fortunate to display a beautifully custom-painted heart created by one of the talented artists featured in the show. 🎨❤️

We love being part of a community that brings together art, local businesses, and meaningful causes. Thank you to everyone who helped make this initiative so special!

Attend the 64th Annual Armonk Outdoor Art Show on September 26 & 27, 2026, where twenty original sculptures created by Art Show artists will be displayed inside participating local businesses throughout town.

💪 As physical therapists, we see what happens when small daily habits turn into big injuries. Here are 3 things we would never do to our own bodies:

1️⃣ Ignore early warning signs. A minor tweak is your body’s alarm system. Waiting until you can’t move is never the answer. Early treatment saves months of pain.

2️⃣ Cold-start heavy lifting. Jumping straight from your desk chair to a heavy barbell or intense workout is a fast track to a strain. Give your muscles 5–10 minutes to wake up.

3️⃣ Sit static for hours. Your best posture is your next posture. Staying frozen in one position all day stiffens your joints and weakens your core support. Move and reset often!
