9 years ago today I got the keys to my shop. 🥹
At the time I was working at Wax Me with Julie. She decided it was time for her next chapter in Ventura, and that gave me the push to finally take the leap and open my own business. I’ll always be thankful to Julie for teaching me so much and giving me the foundation to do what I do today. 🤍
I found this little space, got the keys in July, and officially opened in September. Looking back now, it’s so crazy to see how far this place has come. I seriously wish I had pictures of what it looked like before I moved in because you guys would’ve died seeing the ugly classroom carpet that was in here. 😂
I started with literally nothing. For years it was just me, and now I have two incredible girls by my side that I love like family. It’s been so fun looking back through these pictures and seeing how much this little shop has changed over the years.
And to my clients… thank you. Seriously, I have the best clientele a girl could ever ask for. Every appointment you’ve booked, every friend you’ve referred, every kind word you’ve shared, and every bit of support over the last 9 years has meant more than you’ll ever know. I truly wouldn’t be here without you.
This little shop has given me so much more than I ever imagined. I’m forever grateful for every lesson, every friendship, every milestone, and every single person who’s been part of this journey.
Here’s to 9 years… and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings. 🤍
