I want to take a moment this am to celebrate the duality of us all. We can be so very hurt inside and not be able to heal ourselves...just yet. While we work hard to heal those around us. We know how important it is. We feel the urgency to raise the vibration and get another facing the sun.......when we ourselves, at times, turn away from it. This is not defeat! This is our own healing process happening. Letting another know they are not alone, reminds us that we are also, not alone.

Shadow work is something only an individual can do. We can stand by them while they dig in the dirt around them. But we cannot do the digging. We cannot decide what they hang onto and what they let go of. We cannot decide how fast or slow this process is. It is theirs and theirs alone.

Changing the perception of shadow work will go a long way to helping others, not only delve into it, but also to work at it and complete it. Shadow work is the healing process. Its investing in yourself. Saying, I am worth this work. I am worthy of the white light and unconditional love of the universe.

To the ladies of last night's Reiki Circle, K, M, E, S, and Ky, you are magnificent warriors that faced some tough issues and shed some tears for another in the circle. We gain strength and knowledge from these times. I honor you ladies and am so very humble the universe allows me to be part of this work. There is a huge difference between where this circle started and where it is now. Healing IS happening!!!🥰

Drunken Reiki tonight. This salty bunch keeps me on my toes, but also, is not afraid to dive deeper into the darkness. Digging around in the dirt to find what continues to keep us down. These ladies are fierce. They will speak the truth but also will stand by you as you work through it.

They push back and cover when they are struggling and don't want to be judged or pushed. But they have faith in the universe that what is brought to the surface, was timely. They openly work through their issues so the younger generation has the courage to do this as well.

Please please, live life out loud. Talking about your struggles and the tools you are using to overcome them, may just save a life or in the very least, start someone else's healing journey. You may not think you have anything important to talk about or contribute.....I beg to differ. We are better together!

Each month, on the first Saturday, there is a Reiki Circle in our Community Room. Reiki is an ancient healing art that, in our circle, means a gentle touch with a hand on a shoulder to help move energy through the body. In the healing arts community, it is believed that energy can get stuck and stagnate, causing added stress and a feeling of unease. Reiki helps the energy flow so you feel better. Our circle is welcoming and fun and we invite you to join us. Our next circle is May 2 at 10:30 a.m. We'd love to see you!
