Perpetual Wisdom LLC

Perpetual Wisdom LLC Welcome! I am a Certified End-of-Life Doula & Reiki Practitioner. Guiding transitions with Compassion & Timeless Wisdom. Hello! Why is that? So it's avoided.

Providing non-medical, End-of-Life services, & personalized support for the dying & their loved ones. My name is Colleen Taylor and welcome to my page Perpetual Wisdom LLC. I am a Certified End of Life Doula Specialist and a Reiki Master Practitioner. Here to nurture you & your family with compassion & holistic care in the transition process. My work is non-medical and complimentary to hospice car

e. My goal will always be to meet the patient and their family where they are at in this journey, & giving them back control to make choices. I offer a caring & compassionate presence to provide a calm environment and a peaceful transition. The #1 Fear in our society is Death & Dying. Because we don't talk about it...it's a taboo subject...it's too sad...too much! But doing this just perpetuates the fear, because we don't talk about it and it's unknown. Well, how do get the fear out of the unknown? TALK about it! And yes, it's scary! No matter your beliefs, it is the ultimate unknown. But If we're unable to understand what happens in the dying process - How are we ever going to remove the stigma? And we have another problem...death isn't optional! Yes, we are all going to eventually be there! And will, or maybe already have been, a caregiver, or witness a loved ones passing in our family and friends circles. I am a passionate advocate for normalizing death! How can we create a "Good Death"? Let's TALK ♥
Let's PLAN ♥

Let's not perpetuate the fear and avoid the inevitable. Let's approach it with some knowledge & wisdom. (See what I did there 😉, Perpetual Wisdom 🙌 lol...we can make it fun too!)

We never know what people are going through. We never realize how what a small random act of kindness can affect someone. Keep showing up, being kind, and encouraging others. It has an impact! 💖

I’d love to hear, what’s a random act of kindness you’ve recently received from someone?

I’ll share mine…
I received some amazing, and unexpected, feedback from my presentation last month. I wasn’t sure how it was going to be received. But I trusted what I had to share and that it was coming from my heart. The compliments and remarks like, “I really needed to hear this” made my heart burst!
Those women didn’t need to say these kind words…but they did. And it gave this woman so much joy and more confidence in what she was doing! I was deeply moved. 💗🙏🏽

Say the things! Do the unexpected for someone! Spread your light and love! ✨ It’s so badly needed in our world. 🌸💕

So…I did the thing! My first speaker presentation! 😳🤩
I was surrounded by lovely supportive dot sisters, who were open and curious about my topics. 💞

I’m sure everyone’s takeaways and experiences were very individual, but my hope is they walked away with some insight into how they want to live their lives and being present with themselves and the ones they love.

And now… a small drink of wine and lots of rest! 😋
Thank you to the dot sister who donated the wine. 🍷 …and the courage to tell us the story behind that. May your journey be what you need it to be. 🙏🏽👏

Also, shout out to my beautiful friend Andrea Clem who helped me with the slides and using her laptop.
Friends, community, and Dot sisters… my heart is full! ✨💗✨

"What if thinking about the end of life could actually help us live more fully today?
This week, Polka Dot Powerhouse – Foothills, CO Chapter welcomes Colleen Taylor for a meaningful and heart-centered conversation:
**“Life Illumination Circle: Contemplating Your Life Through the Lens of Death.”**
Colleen is a certified End-of-Life Doula, Reiki practitioner, hospice volunteer, and Advance Care Planning Consultant who helps individuals and families navigate aging and end-of-life with clarity, compassion, and intention.
But this conversation isn’t really about dying.
It’s about LIVING.
Colleen will invite us to explore how awareness of our mortality can help us clarify what matters, deepen self-love, practice forgiveness, and become more intentional about the lives we’re creating right now.
We’ll explore:
• Why contemplating mortality can actually be life-enhancing
• What common end-of-life regrets can teach us about love, forgiveness, and fear
• How to reconnect with our authentic selves and live more fully today
This promises to be a powerful opportunity to reflect, connect, and perhaps look at our own lives through a completely different lens.
We hope you’ll join us."

Absolutely. Since Colleen’s topic is deeper and more reflective, I’d make the three posts feel distinctly different: one **speaker spotlight**, one **thought-provoking/engagement post**, and one **event reminder**.

Flying back into Denver yesterday and just amazed by the clouds and the view of earth below. ✨🌏✨ These views really bring in the oneness of it all for me and how we’re connected in so many ways…even the gravitational field. 💫
Hope you’re enjoying your Sunday 🌸☀️

Let’s normalize these discussions. Avoidance and denial does not make death and dying go away. It just makes it more difficult.

Please join us next Sunday for our Wheat Ridge Death Cafe if you’re needing community and conversation around this topic. ⬇️

Let’s get more comfortable with the uncomfortable conversations. 🙏🏽🫶
