Found this beautiful Luna Moth by my front door, had to share!
The luna moth (Actias luna) is a large, lime-green North American moth with a 3–7 inch wingspan, distinguished by long, twisted hindwing tails and eyespots on each wing. Adults live only ~7 days, do not eat due to lacking mouthparts, and focus solely on mating. Their primary defense against predators like bats includes disrupting sonar with their tails.
