Sacred Dance Guild is excited to bring you our online Festival for 2026. We will be weaving together an experience of connection from around the globe!
Join us on September 19–20, 2026, for an inspiring online Festival filled with movement, connection, discovery, and community.
Our celebration will take you on a journey of discovery with six wonderful individuals. You will have the opportunity to spend time with some familiar faces — Cynthia Winton-Henry and Marla Durden. Marilyn Green and the newly forming SDG's new Living Water Movement Choir, Claire Elizabeth Barratt, and John West — as well as some new faces, Fahadhi Kiryowa and Aradia Julia Sunseri.
This is a unique opportunity to dance into what promises to be an amazing sacred dance buffet!
Weaving the Webs of Sacred Dance Workshop
The “Weaving the Webs of Sacred Dance” workshop will be offered online through Zoom. I will be sending the complete schedule closer to the dates.
If you are unable to attend any or all of the online sessions, no worries! All registered participants will receive access to the recordings the day after the event.
In addition to the workshops, there will be opportunities for Gathering and Sharing with one another before and after the workshops — creating space to connect, reflect, and build community across the globe.
The Sacred Dance Guild Annual General Meeting will take place on Sunday, September 20th at 12:30 pm EDT.
The Sacred Dance Guild is a mission-based, non-profit charitable trust dedicated to celebrating and advocating for dance as an expression of the sacred — in all the ways it is experienced around the globe.
Registration
We invite SDG members to enjoy this special weekend for ONLY $75.00.
For non-members, the registration fee is $125.00.
If you are not currently a member but would like to join our village, you can do so HERE!

REGISTRATION CLOSES ON JULY 1st

Living Art: Chakras is a seven-part online workshop series of sound-and-motion meditations for body and voice, guided by Sacred Dance Guild facilitator Claire Elizabeth Barratt and sponsored by the Sacred Dance Guild and Cilla Vee Life Arts.

Through a spirited blend of movement, breath, vocal intonement, and improvisation to music, you’ll explore the chakra system as a living map of the Self—energy centers in the core body that awaken distinctive qualities of voice, gesture, and presence.

Across seven sessions—one chakra each week—you’ll journey from Root (survival) to Crown (divinity), touching Sacral (sensuality), Solar Plexus (courage), Heart (compassion), Throat (expression), and Third Eye (wisdom) along the way.

Each gathering includes an introduction to the week’s chakra, physical gestures, vocal explorations, time for questions and reflection, and a concluding discussion—offering you an embodied “toolkit” you can continue to draw from in your own practice.

All are welcome, and the work is suitable for all experience levels and abilities; whether you’re new to chakra meditation or a seasoned performing artist, this series invites you to deepen the personal and spiritual dimensions of your movement and voice.

Claire Elizabeth Barratt is an internationally recognized interdisciplinary artist and educator whose decades of experience span performance, choreography, and transformative pedagogy. Her unique approach blends dance, voice, and spiritual inquiry into a deeply expressive and accessible practice.

The Zoom sessions are hosted by the Center for Connection + Collaboration: attend live or receive a recording link afterward.

Tuition is a sliding scale of $70–$140 for all seven sessions.
