We are an insurance-based nutrition counseling practice that provides virtual & in-person options. Nutritious Thoughts offers virtual and in-person sessions to individuals ages 5 and up. We have office locations in Asheville, Hendersonville, and Boone, NC, and also service all of North Carolina virtually. Our specialties include providing counseling and medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for the foll

When organizing your fridge do you keep food safety in mind?

Most fridges have fruit and vegetable storage bins at the bottom, but did you know that is not the safest place for them to be stored.

Always store ready-to-eat foods on the top shelf! Arrange other shelves by cooking temperature (highest cooking temperature on the bottom).

Dietitian tip: Consider swapping those fruits and vegetables to the top and using drawers for meats that require the highest food temperature.

Join us for a partnered eating disorder virtual support group run by Nutritious Thoughts and Carolina Resource Center for Eating Disorders.

This support group aims to provide a virtual space for those struggling to find a helpful community for ED recovery.

Registration is free to the public, but if you are interested, make sure to RSVP to [email protected] to receive the correct affiliative link.

The support group will meet on Wednesdays, 6-7pm EST as an ongoing group meet.
