For all my local people: Fresh Eggs for Sale
I am tentatively planning to reopen my farm stand May 1st, but my chickens have already started laying lots of eggs. I don’t typically wash them, until I use them, but I went ahead and washed these and have them in the refrigerator. So, I’m going to start offering them at the farm stand. They are $4 a dozen and I feed them Amish grown and milled grain, non-gmo feed and scratch, plus a continuous diet of oregano, Rosemary, Thyme and crushed red pepper flakes. They receive apple cider vinegar with the mother infused drinking water every other day, as well. The eggs come from pure Ameraucana, Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, Black Copper Maran and Copper Maran, so there will be an assortment of blue, olive and cream colored eggs. Just reach out and let me know how many dozen you would like and I will put them out into the cooler in the farm stand for pick up.
